About Department and Purpose of the Position

The Kent Ridge Office of Resources (KROR) was established in 2024 to develop and coordinate NUH’s financial resilience and long-term viability. This position will help coordinate and implement initiatives to optimize resource utilization and cost containment, and develop and deliver initiatives on value-based care (AVBC). The candidate will work closely with KROR members and the Community of Practice (COP) Institution Optimisation track across NUHS on initiatives such as manpower productivity, contract life cycle management, and patient- & population-based value delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Aid cross-functional teams in identifying and enhancing efficiency and financial sustainability in operational and clinical processes to support the hospital’s 2030 strategic plan
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to design and implement AVBC initiatives that deliver appropriate and better value care within NUH
  • Gather, clean and integrate data to ensure its quality and usability for downstream analytics and regular reporting purposes
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive communication strategies and stakeholder engagement frameworks
  • Provide secretariat support and/or participate as an active member in the committees and workgroups contributing to KROR and AVBC
  • Assist with any other ad hoc project and duties assigned
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • Preferably in the Healthcare industry with at least 2-5 years of related working experience
  • Experience in biomedical and/or financial data analytics, including data wrangling, analysis, and visualization to derive conclusions and recommendations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Experience in Power BI dashboard application will be an advantage
  • Basic competency in clinical quality frameworks and methodologies for measuring quality and clinical quality improvement tools
  • Pro-active, quality conscious, meticulous and results oriented
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Good team player, responsive and adaptive to a dynamic working environment
