Job Description
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of community development and income security programs.
- Drive community engagement initiatives, including identifying and empowering community leaders.
- Champion community-centric practices within the centre to strengthen engagement and impact.
- Build and maintain strong networks with internal teams and external partners to achieve program objectives.
- Provide leadership, supervision, and professional development support to team members.
- Conduct sensemaking exercises to deepen understanding of youth employment trends and challenges.
- Undertake any other responsibilities and duties assigned by Director.
- Degree, Graduate Diploma, or Master’s in Social Work, Sociology, Political Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in program development and team supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage complex projects effectively.
- Strong networking, partnership-building, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Excellent communication, report writing, and interpersonal abilities.
- Prior experience in community development will be an advantage.
