We are looking for a Façade Designer to join a well-known facade company, supporting the delivery of high-quality building envelope solutions across a range of projects. This role sits at the intersection of architecture, engineering, and technical detailing, with a strong focus on design development, performance, and constructability.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop façade design concepts from schematic through to detailed design stages
- Produce detailed drawings, 3D models, and façade systems documentation
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and consultants to integrate façade systems into overall building design
- Conduct material research and propose suitable façade systems (glass, metal, stone, etc.)
- Support façade performance analysis (thermal, acoustic, structural, weatherproofing)
- Assist in preparing tender packages, specifications, and construction documentation
- Liaise with contractors, fabricators, and suppliers during design and construction phases
- Review shop drawings and ensure design intent is maintained throughout execution
Job Requirements
- Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related discipline
- 3–8 years of experience in façade design / building envelope design
- Strong knowledge of façade systems (curtain wall, cladding, glazing systems, etc.)
- Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit, Grasshopper (preferred)
- Understanding of building physics and façade performance principles
- Experience working on large-scale or complex projects is a plus
- Strong coordination and communication skills
