An international firm seeks a front-end construction legal associate (at least 2 yrs. PQE) to join their Energy and Infrastructure practice in their Singapore office.
This role offers the opportunity to work on some of the most complex, high-value infrastructure and energy projects across the APAC region.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting & Negotiation: Prepare and negotiate a wide range of project documents, including EPC, EPCM, O&M, and Design & Build contracts, as well as professional appointments and security documentation.
- Procurement Strategy: Advise clients on various procurement routes (e.g., FIDIC, JCT, and bespoke frameworks) and risk management strategies.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience: 1–4 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) specializing in non-contentious (front-end) construction or infrastructure projects within a reputable international or top-tier local firm.
- Qualification: Qualified to practice law in the UK (England & Wales) and/or Singapore.
- Technical Skills: Deep familiarity with international standard forms of contract
- Regional Outlook: Experience or a strong interest in the APAC infrastructure market.
- Attributes: Strong commercial acumen, excellent drafting skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
