COENS Energy is representing a leading shipping company with a modern tanker fleet in Singapore who is looking for a technically-grounded professional to bridge the gap between ship and shore, ensuring the fleet remains at peak operational and safety readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day technical and safety integrity of assigned vessels, ensuring strict adherence to company policies and maritime laws.
Lead planned maintenance, repair projects, and dry-docking activities to minimize downtime and ensure efficient vessel dispatch.
Conduct regular shipboard machinery inspections and coordinate with Class Surveyors to maintain all necessary certifications.
Monitor technical expenditures and provide detailed reporting on variances and repair costs to the Fleet Manager.
Requirements
COC Class 1, 2, or 3 holder with sailing experience (Oil Tankers preferred).
At least 2 years of shore-based ship repair or marine engineering experience.
A proactive, results-oriented professional with the ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with shipboard staff.
