The Project Manager will lead the end‑to‑end delivery of the Time & Attendance (T&A) transformation programme, covering vendor onboarding, system implementation, integrations with the enterprise ecosystem, operational rollout across multiple sites, and change adoption.
This role is accountable for on‑time, on‑budget, and compliant delivery, ensuring the T&A system supports operational accuracy, regulatory requirements, workforce productivity, and enterprise reporting needs.
Key Responsibilities
Project Governance & Delivery
- Own the full project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure for the T&A programme.
- Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, and governance reporting for Steering Committee and senior stakeholders.
- Ensure delivery aligns with approved scope, budget, and timeline, escalating risks and issues proactively.
- Manage dependencies across IT, Payroll, People & Culture, Operations, Finance, Legal, and external vendors.
Vendor & System Implementation
- Act as the primary point of contact for T&A system vendors and implementation partners.
- Oversee system configuration, sandbox testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production deployment.
- Ensure contractual deliverables, SLAs, and implementation commitments are met.
- Coordinate phased rollout strategies across small, medium, and large sites, balancing operational readiness and business continuity.
Integration & Data Readiness
- Lead integration efforts between T&A and:
- Payroll systems
- HR / P&C platforms
- Finance and reporting platforms (e.g. BI / dashboards)
- Ensure data migration, master data alignment, and validation are completed accurately.
- Work closely with IT teams to resolve integration, data accuracy, and reconciliation issues.
Stakeholder & Change Management
- Drive engagement with Operations leaders, site managers, Payroll, and P&C teams.
- Translate operational and regulatory requirements into system and process designs.
- Coordinate training, communications, and adoption plans to support end‑users across sites.
- Address resistance to change through structured communication and support.
Compliance, Controls & Quality
- Ensure the T&A solution supports labour regulations, audit requirements, and internal controls.
- Enforce standard procedures, data accuracy controls, and approval workflows where required.
- Ensure documentation is complete, including SOPs, process flows, and handover artefacts.
Reporting & Executive Communication
- Provide clear, concise progress updates to senior management and Steering Committee.
- Highlight key risks, mitigation plans, budget status, and decision points.
- Support post‑implementation reviews and benefits realisation tracking.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5-8 years of project management experience, with at least 3–5 years leading enterprise HR, Payroll, or Workforce Management systems.
- Solid understanding and proven experience delivering Time & Attendance, Workforce Management, HRIS, or Payroll‑related projects.
- Experience managing multi‑site or frontline workforce environments is highly preferred.
- Strong background working with external vendors and system integrators.
- Strong project management discipline and excellent stakeholder management across technical and non-technical teams.
- Strong problem-solving, risk management, and decision-making skills.
- PMP / PRINCE2 / CITPM / equivalent management certification.
- Structured, detail-oriented, and outcome-focused. Comfortable working in high-change, operationally and time sensitive environments.
